Friends Call Me Star

By: Kristi Puckhaber
  • Summary

  • Whatever brought you here, welcome. To sum it up I’m Kristi Puckhaber, a 20 year old who simply lives life the way I want. FriendsCallMeStar is about absolutely anything and everything. A lot goes on in my mind and I decided it was time to leave my voice memos app & take it to the big leagues! I’ll talk at length about whatever is brewing up in my mind, it could go from my life, to advice, interesting stories, shining light on mental health, to a talk show with my friends/family and anything & everything else in between. I can’t really put of an explanation of what will go down on here but that’s what keeps things fun. Can’t put much structure on greatness. All in all, I have too many things I wish were heard by more people, as a result I welcome you to be my friend, & call me Star!

  • Social media chokehold
    Dec 14 2022

I revisit my thoughts regarding social media and whether it is toxic or not. The consumption of the media today is different for everyone, I know that however the chokehold it has on its consumers is something we all can relate to in a way. Whether it’s a new trend, a new celebrity/influencer crush or idolization or a hyper fiction on something at the time. Social media in my opinion has a chokehold on this generation and it is CRAZY to think about. Come along with me on this episode as I explain this, and give my raw thoughts on it all.

  • the plot is thickening.
    Nov 14 2022

Doing things for the plot is a phrase I’ve been taking and running with. Growing up can be hard sometimes so it is important to never take life too seriously and to remember how temporary everything truly is. In this episode I talk about just that, and how doing things for yourself other than other people’s perception of you is so necessary in order to grow. The life you chose to live is in no one else’s hands but your own so it is important to not fall into the social standards of life and to always remember who you are and what you desire.

  • A guide on HOW TO BE COOL. (ft Claire Ellicott)
    Oct 18 2022

In todays day and age there is too much structure and how people think they are supposed to look and or act. The word cool is seen as a definition other than an umbrella term. In this episode I am joined by Claire Ellicott and we talk about how the true definition of being cool is being you without caring how you are seen. Being cool isn’t what you think you should do, it’s about doing what you want to do. Stay cool people
