  • Aloha, heute geht es um The Finals, einen competitiven Multiplayer Extraction Shooter. Das Spiel hat einige zentrale Aspekte von Battlefield übernommen, allen voran die zerstörbare Umgebung, und schafft es deshalb Battlefield Nostalgie in mir auszulösen (abgesehen davon ist es einfach sehr gut). Da so einige Ex-Battlefield Entwickler an The Finals gearbeitet haben, habe ich etwas zu BF2042 und der Abwanderung des Personals recherchiert und konnte einige interessante Hintergrundinformationen auftreiben. In der ersten Hälfte des Podcast werde ich über BF2042 und seine Probleme während der Entwicklung eingehen und anschließend in der zweiten Hälfte über The Finals als eine Art Spiritual Successor zur Battlefield.
