Christ is not the mascot of a Christian for causes. He is the Word, born and died and mediates between God and people, and will judge the living and the dead! Such a being carries a cost when following Him! It’s vital to be an example of who He is! Like, share, and with joy spread the news that Christ is the same Yesterday, today, and forever!- Hebrews 13:8! Thanks to the good folks in Troup UMC  for the great Pastor Appreciation gifts! 

Short and sweet worship today! Don’t be a Balak this Christmas  (Or a Griswold after getting a jelly of the month club reward! Ha! Ha!) Even though we have acted like Balak, the birth of Christ reveals a merciful God to our actions. Find a way to display and talk about the mercy of Jesus today! Merry Christmas!
