COTA SA presents: In episode three, Sandra shares her story of seeking purpose in retirement. After relocating from interstate and retiring within this timeframe, Sandra found herself feeling isolated and without a strong sense of local community connections. Becoming a COTA Volunteer and accessing support services through COTA Connections, is helping Sandra to bridge her feelings of isolation.
Since recording this interview Sandra has joined a local Country Women's Association group, has joined a Strenght for Life group with an active social club, is also volunteering with the Strenght for Life program and as a COTA Visitor visiting a woman in her local area.
