Find Peace in the Midst of Pain, It's Okay to Beat on God's Chest, and Have a Grace Revolution!

  • Summary

  • This week, I am honored to be talking to Lana Jernigan, who helped raise a whole generation of youth group kids through her long tenure at a summer camp ministry near Fayetteville, NC called Camp Dixie!

Lana was one of the few adults who actually seemed to make sense to me when I was a teenager, so naturally, she made a huge impression on me and I thought it would be fun to have her on the show to reminisce together and to hear about the turning points in her life’s journey that brought her closer to a life of authenticity.

Lana is a mother, grandmother, and recently moved to Georgia to start a new adventure as Director of Operations for Trueface.

In this episode, Lana is going to get real with us about how peace and pain can co-exist in the middle of loss, why it’s ok to beat on God’s chest, and how God’s grace changes everything. I’m sure that by the end of this hour, we’re all going to be inspired by Lana’s story, which will prove that God loves us and wants to launch us into the dreams he has for us!
