    Synopsis

    In an alternate universe set in Edo period Japan, the Mikoshi race is about to take place, the winner of which receives a million Berries, and Boss Luffy and his friends recruit Franky to build them a mikoshi. Meanwhile, Thriller LTD enters the race, and begins working to sabotage its competitors, including groups based on the Flying Fish Riders and Rolling Pirates. The crew meets up with Brook, who cannot remember anything other than his own name, and tries to stop Thriller LTD from interfering. They arrive to find their mikoshi destroyed, and Brook remembers that he was once part of Thriller LTD before trying to leave and being thrown in a river by Hogback, Perona and Absalom.

    This two-parter came out in 2009 just after the Thriller Bark Saga. It was  produced by Toei known for making classics: Dragon Ball, Toriko , Digimon, and many other great anime.

    With season 3 of Demon Slayer recently concluding, we thought it would be a good time to cap off our thoughts on the season/series thus far.

    Synopsis

    For centuries, the Demon Slayer Corps has sacredly kept the location of Swordsmith Village a secret. As the village of the greatest forgers, it provides Demon Slayers with the finest weapons, which allow them to fight night-crawling fiends and ensure the safety of humans. After his sword was chipped and deemed useless, Tanjirou Kamado, along with his precious little sister Nezuko, is escorted to the village to receive a new one.

    UA: LA - My Hero Academia : A live action take on a MHA story created Chris Cowan. Performed and choreographed by Hollywood level stunt professionals, with films such as Shang-Chi, Avengers: End Game, Creed III under their belt.

     

    Suponjibobu Anime - Bubble Bass Arc : A perfectly stereotypical shonen anime episode done in the SpongeBob SquarePants universe, created by the YouTuber Narmak. It's an anime you didn't know you needed.

     

    Legend - A Dragon Ball Tale : An alternate storyline involving Broly and masterfully animated by Studio Stray Dog. The amount of sakuga jammed into this short is what every Dragon Ball fan desires.

A mostly non-canon movie that takes place after season 2. As alwasys full spoilers after the intro but let us know your thoughts on the movie , was it worth the movie ticket?

    This week we watched Digimon Tamers, episodes 34-36! Keeping the nostalgia train going (Choo-Choo!). We remember it being one of the better, if not best, product from the Digimon series so we couldn't resist seeing if it held up or not. Join us and find out!

     

    Synopsis

    Digimon Tamers takes place in a world where the popular Digimon franchise is all the rage, consisting of a cartoon, video games, and the trading card game. Takato Matsuda is a huge Digimon fan that's particularly obsessed with the card game, and constantly daydreams about the universe therein. One day, he finds a mysterious blue card, which he slides through a scanner toy to use in the popular battle game. His toy suddenly glows and transforms into a Digivice, and Takato's fan-made design, Guilmon, materialises in front of him. Thrilled by the prospect of having a real-life Digimon, Takato embraces his new partner, and his adventures as a Digimon Tamer begin.
