Description: Maurice Klein speaks with L’Chaim – To Life’s radio tour guide Effi Yaacobi, providing an update on Operation Swords Of Iron, Israel's war against Hamas, the Palestinian government of Gaza, with situations evolving every day. From his experience of having served in three wars, Effi explains how tragedies such as the mistaken identity killing of the three hostages happen in the fog of war. As soon as the trucks pass through the Egyptian border crossing, most of the world's humanitarian aid is being hijacked by Hamas for Hamas, thus becoming unavailable for the desperately in need people of Gaza. Negotiations continue for another humanitarian pause to the war for the release of more hostages, and scepticism should be the call re the Hamas Ministry of Health casualty numbers. Effi has some advice for Penny Wong when she visits Israel. To contact Effi, email him at efyaac@netvision.net.il.
