  • Pelle è un diciannovenne svedese, ossessionato dalla morte fin da bambino. È appassionato di heavy metal: si fa chiamare Dead, canta, scrive testi. Manda ai Mayhem un pacco con la sua “candidatura” e diventa il loro nuovo cantante. Oystein/Euronymous e Jorn/Necrobutcher trovano anche un nuovo batterista, Jan Axel detto Hellhammer. Fra il 1987 e il 1991 affinano il loro sound, suonano in Norvegia, diventano dei miti nell’underground. Fino a che Dead non porta la sua ossessione per la morte agli estremi.
