  • Summary

  • In the final episode, Jen is in a hospital in the desert and records her conversation with a doctor who explains that she was found wandering on a road in the middle of the night, no idea where she was. She recounts what she can remember of her experience at the crater, where she witnessed a group of cult-like people in robes chanting the names of the frequencies and, perhaps, waiting for something or someone to arrive. This is when she saw, she says, her brother. He was alive. The doctor reveals that much of her story doesn't jive with facts and that the drug DMT was found in her blood. So in the end, Jen can't be sure if what happened was real or a hallucination, but it doesn't matter: she connected with her brother, just as he said she would, and is healed. Then Jen listens to his final voice memo, a letter of love to her. She goes back to the crater and tosses his ashes into the wind. Her journey of grief and healing is done. But then we hear a phone message from Jen's ex-boyfriend, wondering where she is, why she disappeared and has not been heard from. He shares that now he too can hear the strange frequencies, coming from the desert, and he's going out there to find her....

Don’t bother

A badly done sci fi that in the close encounter of the third kind genre. Poor and unbelievable story line with too many coincidences.
