Episode 97: Arber Xhekaj In or Out?

  • Summary

  • In this episode, we discuss...

The Montreal Canadiens pre-season is FINALLY over. Were there any standouts? Who did well, surprised us the most, and should they make the team.

Arber Xhekaj had a very interesting pre-season. He was physical, took a lot of penalty minutes, defended his teammates, and was the "sheriff" the whole time. The question is, has the aspects of his game evolved enough to cement his position on the bottom pairing, over Jayden Struble?

Well, the Habs powerplay continued where it left off last season. It's been terrible. Are we going to see more of the same or is it just that Martin St. Louis has not had enough time to work on the powerplay?

Question of the week (Reply in comments on YouTube): Is Xhekaj getting too many penalties for your liking? or are you ok with what he is doing?
