Episode 8: The Mandela Effect

  • Summary

  •

Happy New Year! I'm saying goodbye to 2019 with an episode about the Mandela Effect!

In this episode, we will be reviewing several supposed examples of the Mandela effect with a guest. Together, we go through each one, discussing how we remember things.

In this episode, you'll hear a lot of jokes and laughing. That's because 2019 has been so terrible, and a lot of things have been rough. When that's the case, all we can do is laugh and try to make light of the bad things every once in a while. We also discuss and try to decide what the Mandela Effect is, or what it means, and what causes it. The conversation gets a bit trippy for a few minutes, but we try our best to stay on topic.

This is a super special episode because in it there are many wild tangents, where we talk about past lives, old jobs, and random hockey factoids! To keep it creepy, we also tied it off with a short discussion on A24 film studios and their releases: Hereditary, Midsommar, the VVitch, and the newest film, The Lighthouse.

Here is the trailer for the Lighthouse

To prove to anyone that I wasn't Mandela-effecting my guest, the Mandela Effect (2019) is indeed a real movie. Here's The Mandela Effect Trailer.

Here is the song that I mentioned: Always Look on The Bright Side of Life (Monty Python, The Secret Life of Brian)
