  • Richard Nowak loves birds since 2010 he’s devoted his life to saving domestic and wild non-native birds. He's started a organization committed to Re-homing, rehabilitating, and education in the Salt Lake, Utah, Davis County, along with other areas of the Western United States for the benefit of birds conditions in urban areas. He runs the Avian Sanctuary and Protection Center. On July 22, 2022 The Division of Wildlife Resources seized more than 80 birds from the sanctuary in West Valley City, citing concerns over avian influenza, and arrested Nowak.
