Episode 5:- Skincare and Make up Myths

  • Summary

  • In episode 5 I'm joined by Dr Yemi Bello, Dermatology Clinical Fellow and Tumi, The Beauty Chemist.

Together we discuss Sunscreen, anti-ageing products, acne and more.

Dr Yemi Bello – Dermatology Clinical Fellow

Dr Yemi Bello has always had a passion for skincare and hair products, she is currently working as a Dermatology Clinical Fellow. In addition to her 5 years of clinical experience in the NHS, she has completed a Masters in Aesthetic Medicine and a diploma in Cosmetic science. We worked together to host the first ever Alafia Health and wellness hub. It was a day full of talks and workshops, aimed at educating the African and Carribean community in London about health issues that affect us the most.

    Tumi – The Beauty Chemist

She’s a Cosmetic scientist who completed her degree at  the London College of Fashion. Having worked in the beauty industry for over a decade and spending a significant proportion of that time working in research and development,

Tumi is a wealth of knowledge on beauty products and their formulations.

I’m excited for both Dr Yemi and Tumi to share their insights in skincare and make up. She has a wealth of knowledge on beauty products and their formulations and is hugely passionate about her work.
