Episode #44: KNOXVILLE - MAY 1979 (Responding to Accusations)

  • Summary

  • The Wrestling Stoop w/Bob Roop returns this week as we continue to tell the story of Knoxville 1979, and the defection from Ron Fuller's Southeastern territory. This week, we look at the final full month of time that Roop, Garvin, Orton, Malenko, and the rest competed for Southeastern in May of 1979. We look at the card results and for the first time ever, Bob hears and responds to comments made by Ron Fuller about the final events leading into the "Knoxville 5" departure. Bob responds to accusations of "poor houses", intentional "bad booking", "tanking matches", conversations that may have never happened, & more!
