Episode 4 - The Murder of Richard Dadd

  • Summary

  • Robert Dadd was strolling through the acres of beautiful gardens in Cobham Park with his son, Richard. It was a gorgeous, warm summers evening. They had spent a relaxed evening in the local public house, catching up after Richard had returned from a long trip overseas.

It was a peaceful evening, just the sounds of the water in the River Mole flowing rapidly past them and the hoots from the owls in the trees. It was a perfect summers evening and the stars were shining in the clear nights sky.

But this would be the last time that Robert would enjoy these surroundings. In fact, this would be the last time that Robert would enjoy ANYTHING. As just a few hours later Roberts body was found laid on the grass a few metres from the road.

This is the story of Robert Dadd.
