  • This episode is about the horrendous kidnapping case of three girls in Cleveland Ohio, approximately one year apart, taken on the same street, by Ariel Castro. Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight were held in his house in Cleveland, secured by chains a lot of the time. The three girls were routinely violently abused and neglected, until one day in 2013, when Amanda Berry breaks out of the house and escapes with a small child. 911 is called and the rest is history. The shocking case of Ariel Castro’s atrocious crimes, in what was termed the “House of Horrors”, in the media, ended with his suicide later that same year.
