Episode 20: The Red Angel's Wrath - Angron's Damnation

  • Summary

  • The tortured existence of Angron has seen him endure a life of bloodshed, rage, and betrayal. In this climactic episode, we bear witness as the Red Angel finally abandons his fragile grip on humanity to fully embrace the murderous warp-tainted powers he has staved off for so long.

First, we revisit Nuceria - the gladiatorial world of Angron's brutal upbringing. Alongside his brother Primarch Lorgar, the pair attempt to purge this planet of its horrors once and for all.

While Lorgar futilely tries to maintain his brother's lucidity, we see visions of Angron's former life flash before him - from his first gladiatorial victory to his rediscovery by the Emperor's warriors. But these shards of forgotten nobility cannot hold against the bloodletting Khorne now demands.

Finally, we witness Angron's full transformation as warp energy sears his flesh into a new form - an unstoppable engine of slaughter whose unbound butchery may prove too much even for friend or foe. When the Primarch stands before Roboute Guilliman, apocalyptic violence erupts. The two brothers, now diametric opposites, enter an earth-shattering conflict that may decide the fate of the Imperium itself.

For the Red Angel has been unmade. And all that rises in his place is the merciless Beast of the immortal Blood God - Khorne!
