Episode 20: Angels and the Kingdom of God

  • Summary

  • In this message, Jacob Dunbar discusses the ascension and the coming of the Son of Man, Jesus into His Kingdom followed by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the world where we now possess the kingdom through the Holy Spirit. Jacob then goes on to discuss the importance of partnering, interacting and ministering with the Angels of God. “I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-14)But the court shall sit in judgment, and his dominion shall be taken away, to be consumed and destroyed to the end. And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; his kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.’ (Daniel 7:26-27)Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:30)Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing. For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says,“‘The Lord said to my Lord,“Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”’Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” (Acts 2:33-39)But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, (Hebrews 12:22)Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.” And to which of the angels has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet” Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:5...13-14)Lift up your heads, O gates! Be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may enter! (Psalm 24:7)Jesus told the pharisees that they stand at the gates and don’t go in themselves nor do they let anyone else in. and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are the angels. (Matthew 13:39)Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:37)And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:31)The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. (Psalm 34:7)(2 Kings 6:15-17)Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him. (Matthew 4:11)See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 18:10)And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow, and he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.” (Luke 22:43-45)Mat 16:27 - For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.To visit Resurrection Ranch go to the link belowhttps://www.rezranch.comTo give go tohttps://www.rezranch.com/giveFacebookhttps://www.facebook.com/rezranch11
