Even though this film has a few key storytelling mistakes, and one glaring oversight regarding problematic dynamics, it is a fun fantasy adventure, based on a young adult novel series. But let’s all be real, everyone secretly wishes for a dragon BFF, right? We’re all familiar with this power fantasy, and sometimes we get exactly what we ask for.
