  • Aron Ralston is a man many of you will be familiar with. In April 2003 he took a trip to Bluejohn Canyon alone. He told nobody where he was going. 

    Aron shortly into his trip, finds himself stuck in the canyon, with his  lower right arm crushed and pinned by a boulder. 

    After 5 days, he came to the conclusion that he was going to have to amputate his own arm with a blunt penknife.
