  • Summary

  • Throughout time and across the world, the mention of shapeshifters has always been around. The concept of beings who are able to transform into animals is certainly nothing new. In the Native-American lore there exist such beings known as Skinwalkers. These malevolent creatures are known to have the ability to shapeshift at will into animals such as wolves, coyotes and foxes to simply name a few. Aside from shapeshifting they can also mimic voices and animal cries to lure their prey, they can take on human possession and are the cause of nightmares. They are definitely a taboo topic that is rarely spoken about in the native tribes and collecting additional information regarding them is challenging.
