Would you believe someone if they said they were God?

Amy Carlson claimed to be Mother God who had lived for 19 billion years and been reincarnated more than 530 times. She gained some followers once she started posting videos online on YouTube and the name of their group was Love Has Won. There were speculations whether this was a cult or not. What do you think?
