He was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Some of his works were “So What”, “Kind of Blue”, “Sketches of Spain” and “Bitches Brew”. He was one of the pioneers of the modal jazz in the 1960s. In 1985, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.. His album "Kind of Blue" was the best-selling jazz album for over four decades, and is still critically acclaimed as one of the best albums of all time.
