In this episode, we give an overview of the entire training. We discuss why missionary partnership creates long-term sustainability on the field, and why it is important to overcome an orphan mentality when it comes to finances. You will become very familiar with our motto for this training: “Fundraising is hard, but partnership is sweet!” We begin by addressing the need for a change in mindset in order to overcome the cultural stigmas, and shame around the subject of money and missionary partnership. We highlight the book Values Matter by Darlene Cunningham by explaining the Youth With A Mission value, Depend On God For Finances. Special guest Emmanuel Kamdem shares how he became fully funded as an African YWAM missionary in Cameroon.
