Ep3: The Cricket World Cup Week 2 - A Collapse, a Heartbreak, a Nice Upset

  • Summary

  • A lot can happen in 4 days. From the last podcast, we have witnessed not one, but two captains getting injured for a majority of the tournament (though we forgot to mention Dasun). India vs Pakistan continued its trend of being an overhyped dud of an encounter, like it has been for several ODI world cups now. Oh and, England continues to make world cups interesting by losing to teams they should handily beat. Elsewhere, an international T20 match saw a score in excess of 400 with no sixes. Sir Alistair Cook retired after a stunning career. We go through all of this, our predictions for next week, and we bully Ishan over the quiz he made (we're not very good people). All while trying to speed through everything because one of us had technical difficulties and had to catch a flight. Listen if you must, enjoy if you can!
