    Francisco das Chagas Rodrigues de Brito was a Brazilian mechanic and serial killer who confessed to the murder of at least 71 children between 1989 and 2003. He was known as the "Maranhão Vampire" and the "Moise Killer". Brito was convicted of 42 murders and sentenced to life in prison. He committed suicide in his cell on January 13, 2004.
