  • On this Saturday Morning Giant, we watched the Hanna Barbera retrofuturism classic The Jetsons to celebrate the canonical birth of George Jetson this year!

    George and his family live in a future world full of rocket cars and robot maids, and still deal with normal domestic problems like getting a raise at work or feeling jealous about the neighbors.

    We compare the original 1962 run to the revival in the 1980s, and discuss the addition of an unnecessary alien pet, impressive pun work, building an indestructible jacket but not indestructible pants, empath superpowers, and defunct theme park attractions.
