Ep 15 - Love is Service

  • Summary

  • We all know the difference between love and lust but, let's dig a little deeper to understand the dangers of lust and how we can control feelings of lust in our lives. Lust separates us from others and God and eventually destroys us from within. We must move from a place of lust to a place of unconditional love.

Love is an act of service and willing others well; it is through this service we express how important another person is in our lives. True love leads the other person to heaven. Lust, on the other hand, is how the other person can serve us and how we can use the other person. We are called to be saints and to make others saints; lust destroys that. The opposite of love is not hate, it's lust.

Sex was desired by God to bring unity in relationships and to bring life into this world. We are called to love others as God loves them and serves them.
