Poetry at the end of the world- BYO tacos

Lovely poetic imagery, the lilt and timbre of a talented reader, all bludgeoned into oblivion by a violent roiling ocean intent on destroying Mexico. The recording is fine, the mix is fine but who's bright idea was it to embed this beautiful piece of writing (breathed into life by an amazing actor) into the sounds of clearly one of the most turbulent violent beaches on the planet as it savages the coast, pummeling the last few pebbles and shells in Mexico into oceanic Armageddon?

Imagine Jamie Dornan reading Baudelaire on the deck of the Titanic as it snaps in half in the midst of an epic battle from a Transformers movie at sea and you're there... ay carumba!

A recording from just about any other beach in the world would have been less traumatic.
