Ep 08 - Build the Discipline of Prayer

  • Summary

  • One of the most important things in the life of a Christian is prayer; it is a conversation, and it is about maintaining and building a relationship with Jesus. Fr. Rob Galea begins his day with a “Good morning, Jesus!”. He then goes to a quiet place to pray the Rosary, then the Divine Office, and an hour in prayer.

It is important to plan our prayer and make time for it because it is what gives us the strength to live our Christian life. Prayer is a discipline and the first thing we need is a regular place to pray and a time set apart for it.

Here are 6 things that Fr. Rob Galea does after praying the Holy Rosary to structure his prayer time: ACTSSS

    1. Adoration
    2. Confession
    3. Thanksgiving
    4. Supplication
    5. Scriptures
    6. Silent Time

With prayer, we will become the saints God has called us to be.
