Quick Chat #23 from the Slow Coach Project.
The final episode. For now. I reckon I’ll be back, don’t you?
Running an online biz is fraught with difficulties and this can be a rude shock when we come to it with unrealistic expectations. In this final episode, I talk about the pitfalls and the joys of running your own biz, whether it’s online or in the arts.
For the sake of our mental health and to thrive in this topsy turvy space, we must manage our expectations and become aware of the background (subconscious) narratives that are running our dog and pony show.
Are you seeking salvation via your biz? Do you think that life will magically fall into place once your business is ‘on track’? You’re not alone if these myths are informing the way you think and behave.
We need to question these assumptions and keep them in check — not to impede our growth but to strengthen our understanding of what’s going on and to help us hold steady and build a sturdy foundation for our biz and our future.
So, dear listener. Follow your heart, take exceptional care of yourself, and always keep your wits about you!
Thank you for joining me in the Slow Coach Project. I’ll see you again very soon. Jen xo

About the Slow Coach Project
The Slow Coach Project was a three-month experiment. It was all about me casting my net to see who’s out there, who wants help and who wants to hang out with me while they grow their biz and learn from me and my experiences. It was a gorgeous project, I met so many stunning women at various stage of their businesses. I cannot wait to do something similar again soon! Again, hop my mailing list to stay in the loop.
