  • Summary

  • Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses the decline in church membership and attendance that has been occurring since the 1970s. Today only three in 10 adults choose to attend church on a regular basis. And more than one-third of US young adults have no religious affiliation. He discusses how Generation Z, those under the age of 35, are a major part of the decline in church attendance. It is pointed out how mainline denominations have adapted heavily to modern secular thought, thus abandoning what the church could biblically speak to. Many Protestant churches have also embraced much of the skepticism about the reliability of the Bible and accounts of Christ’s life and death. Only 45% of evangelical Christians clearly affirm that a personal belief in, or relationship with, Christ is essential for eternal life. Dr. Hall responds to the question, “Is Jesus really the only way to God?” The challenge of choosing a church to attend is part of this podcast. Can also be seen on YouTube at:
