  • Enero de 2016. Dos hermanos españoles, Omar y Luis Viñas, que viven como ganaderos y agricultores en Venezuela, son secuestrados en el estado de Guárico por una de las bandas más peligrosas de Sudamérica. Los hermanos son interceptados en lo que parecía un control policial y, tras cubrirles el rostro, los trasladan por carreteras que se adentran por una zona cada vez más selvática. Poco después los secuestradores deciden liberar a Luis y lo abandonan en una zona recóndita de la montaña en plena noche.
