EPS 204- 3 Ways to have BOUNDARIES as a CHRISTIAN without being a Doormat

  • Summary

  • As a Christian, it's important to remember that being kind, compassionate, and showing love; does not mean allowing others to walk all over you at their convenience! For that reason, your identity as a follower of Christ should not be based on always saying, "yes" to others. You're not a doormat! First and foremost, it is crucial to pray for discernment and follow God's direction in all situations. By seeking guidance from the Lord, you can make wise decisions about when to say, "no" and when to stand up for yourself or walk away. Scriptures should not be taken out of context; turning the other cheek does not mean allowing others to mistreat you. (See Matthew 5:38-40). Setting healthy boundaries is essential in maintaining your well-being and standing firm in your faith.
