Austin Penrose & Mahlon Head have started a brand surrounding mental health initially called “Happy Dude” and through some entrepreneurial learnings have now had a name shift and called “Friends of Felix”. These two friends bonded in a time of need when going through some of their own personal experience with mental health challenges and through these adversities knew there must be others out there like them that could use the support. Starting with their t-shirt brand, their goal is to ignite conversations surrounding mental health, eventually expanding into speaking engagements and funding more support channels through this growth. This podcast is sure to inspire many through this great discussion.
