Dr. Allen is the executive of the Luther Hodges Scholars at the Kenan- Flagler Business School and Kenan Private Enterprise. She has more than 20 years of leadership experience in education, community engagement, and nonprofit management in organizations such as UNC-Chapel Hill, the NAACP, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. History & Public Policy Center, where she served as executive director. She holds a doctorate in cultural anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University, and she is now a recently certified life coach; she incorporated Find Your Way Coaching in July 2023.
