This episode came up very quickly after having participated to a variety of event and after some conversation with fellow online business owners. What people are starting to miss is authenticity, it seems like everyone is ready to sell you something and there is a lack of desire for meaningful connections. This is what I decided to talk about some of the issues that seem to be predominant in the online space right now and how to get back to create an authentic community where intentional connections are at the front and business growth is a natural consequence.
- I share my experiences attending in-person business events and how important they are for creating deeper connections. It’s so different from relying mostly on online interactions, and I think we’ve lost some of that personal touch.
- The pandemic pushed many people to start their own businesses and bring them online, which has made the digital space more crowded than ever. While there are new opportunities, it’s also harder to stand out and easy to feel isolated. So many of us are craving real, meaningful connections, but it’s tough to find them online.
- I’ve encountered people who only reach out when they want to sell something, and it’s frustrating. I believe that before making a pitch, you need to share your expertise and build a real relationship. People buy from those they trust and like—not from random pitches. That’s why I focus on truly connecting with others before anything else.
- Authentic connections are so important to me. I’ve worked with clients who feel alone and struggle to find genuine support, and I know how hard that can be. It’s why I want to help create a space where people can find the support and advice they need without any strings attached.
