E29 Alice Cooper - Feed My Frankenstein

  • Summary

  • Boo!

This week on the Wet Tee Shirt Podcast, we are exploring classic movie monsters through the power of rock. We are starting out with Frankenstein, and since Alice Cooper keeps writing songs about Frank we chose The Godfather of Shock himself to build the theme around! We play "Teenage Frankenstein" and "Feed My Frankenstein", then follow it up with our vampire pick - Judas Priest's "Love Bites". For our wolfie banger, we picked Uriah Heep's "Night of the Wolf", and since there aren't any WTSP friendly songs about mummies per se, we picked zombies as the perfect substitute, and went with Ozzy Osbourne's "Zombie Stomp". To round things out we picked a tune about witches, the theatrical "Eye of the Witch" by King Diamond, and went out on Faster Pussycat's cover of "Monster Mash". The whole damned thing is a graveyard smash!

Candace put together a Wet Tee Shirt Podcast Halloween Playlist on Spotify that is a collection of all of the songs that we've played on the show this year that would work for a Halloween party soundtrack! Enjoy:
