    Discussed in a previous episode about xenotransplants, we are disheartened to tell you all, Mr. David Bennett Sr. has passed away. On January 7th, Mr. Bennett took a risk and had a genetically modified pig heart transplanted into his body. His willingness to participate in this endeavor helped lead this experimental procedure and led to new data and will help others in the future. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of those affected.
