  • It’s a lot easier to be on the outside, listening to someone else’s story, being the person they come to for advice. But what about when it’s you who needs clarity? When you’re the one feeling stuck, conflicted, and unsure? We live in a world of extremes—where everything seems black or white, right or wrong—but most of life isn’t that simple. The truth often lives somewhere in the middle. It’s just hard to find it when emotions are high and everyone’s convinced they’ve got it all figured out. In close relationships, whether it’s family, friends, or partners, it’s easy to slip into familiar patterns—getting defensive, digging in. We’re so sure of our perspective that we miss where the other person’s coming from. Words get misinterpreted, feelings get hurt, and suddenly there’s this wall between us. I’ve been there so many times, thinking I’m saying something innocent, only for it to be misunderstood. It’s like all the history between you, all those shared moments, suddenly becomes fuel for an argument instead of a bridge to understanding.
