On this day in 1978, CBS aired what they hoped would be an instant classic: a brand-new holiday special to be rewatched and beloved for years to come...set in a galaxy far, far away.

Today, on the 46th anniversary of it's airing and Life Day, we're revising the classic, and we've brought along the incredibly talented and lovely hosts of The Mixed Reviews, Gavin and Louie, to help us celebrate this incredibly camp, often absurd, and this surprisingly queer piece of art!

(It involved Bruce Vilanch and Bob Mackie, I mean, hello?).

We also discussed 2023's documentary and book of the same name A Disturbance in The Force: How and Why The Star Wars Holiday Special Happened.

It's a bittersweet episode as we bid adieu to our often beloved, often confusing Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2D2 and C3PO. At least...until The Great Heap!

And we could not have arrived at the end without the help of an incredible guest - writer, photographer, multi-fandom extrodinare - It's Meigs, creator of Meig's Odyssey and @TheMeigalorian everywhere online!
