Day 320 | Egypt, like Assyria, will fall | Hebrews 13: Worship that please God

  • Summary

  • Day 320 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. In Ezekiel 30-31, God tells Ezekiel to warn Egypt that they will be defeated and lose their power because they've acted arrogantly, thinking they're unbeatable, like a tall tree. But even the tallest trees can be cut down, and so can the most powerful nations. It's a reminder that pride can lead to a fall, and no one is too big or strong to be beyond God's reach. Hebrews 13 teaches us to keep loving each other like family, to be kind to strangers, and to remember those in trouble. It reminds us to be happy with what we have because God is always with us. It also talks about following good leaders, not being carried away by strange teachings, and offering praise to God through our actions and words. The chapter encourages us to do good and share with others, which pleases God.
