    It is scripted by Danish Iqbal ,a National award winner including the National Award and the prestigious ‘Mohan Rakesh Samman’.  A Delhi based playwright who combines in himself various roles of a performer, teacher, and most importantly a storyteller !Danish has worked with some of the best theatre personalities of India that include Utpal Dutt and M S Sathyu.

She ruled the hearts of millions and her smile mesmerized the young and the old, alike. She defined beauty with her charm and charisma. As said by many people, Madhubala’s perfect smile made her the most beautiful woman in the film world.

    The episode introduces us to Baby Mumtaz. Sweet little Mumtaz was born on the day of love to Ataullah Khan and Ayesha Begum, the date was 14 February 1933. Tragedies surrounded her life; her family was expelled from Afghanistan and her father had to grapple for their survival. She was bestowed with the title - Venus of India.     Ataullah Khan did everything he could to keep the wolf from the door but he made sure that his children must not know about the troubles that he was going through. While between jobs in Peshawar, one day Ataullah took Baby Mumtaaz to a radio station when she was 9 years old. Here music producer Khurshid Anwar recognised her singing talent.
