    In this episode, we welcome Ian Thomas, who joins us to talk about narrative game design.

    Ian is a writer, narrative designer, and games programmer who's blended interactivity and storytelling for nearly three decades. He's worked in interactive television, education, puppet-making, film, publishing, and the games industry, and has contributed code, writing, or design to more than a hundred titles, including franchises from LittleBigPlanet to LEGO. He currently works as Narrative Director at The Chinese Room.

    In his spare time he's created children's books about Cthulhu, genre movies, playable interactive fiction, RPGs featuring giant rats, and critically-acclaimed larps.
