Daniel es físico oceanográfico, graduado en Física por la Universidad de las Illes Balears y con Máster en Física Avanzada y Matemática Aplicada también por la UIB. Actualmente Daniel está realizando el doctorado en el Instituto Mediterráneo de Estudios Avanzados (IMEDEA, CSIC-UIB) sobre estructuras de submesoescala en el Mar Mediterraneo dentro del grupo de Oceanografía y Cambio Global.
