Dr. Vijayavel Vadiveloo completed his undergraduate studies in 1993 at the University of Mangalore. Subsequently completed the Master of O&G in 2001 from the University of Malaya and underwent subspecialty training in Gynae Oncology at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary from 2005 -2006.
Completed the MOH Gynae Oncology Fellowship program in 2008 and was then appointed as Consultant OBGYN and Head of the Gynae Oncology Unit at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hospital HTAR, Klang. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery (Laparoscopy) in Gynaecology and has obtained the Master Certification in Gynae Endoscopy and also Master Certification in Surgical Management of Deep Endometriosis from the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery.
After 19 years of service to MOH in 2012, he decided to pursue his career at KPJ Klang as Head of the Gynae Unit and currently is also practicing at Damansara Specialist Hospital 2. He is a visiting Gynae Oncologist at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang, and an Honorary lecturer to the Department of O&G, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya
