Well this episode took me down quite the rabbit hole. I started off just wondering what prophesies Jesus fulfilled. It ended up with a deep dive into Jewish and early Christian history, looking at prophesies that weren't fulfilled, and researching the history of the theological idea that one Messiah will come twice. Fascinating stuff. Enjoy the episode!

Hello everyone! Today we are talking about John 11 and the story of Lazarus getting raised from the dead. We recently went over this in my Bible study and it was so amazing how this story has so many applications in my life recently. We think we have a perfect plan laid out for our lives, but it's not as good as God's plan for us! Jesus waited two days to travel to Lazarus, Martha and Mary were distraught that if he had been there Lazarus wouldn't have died. Little did they know that he purposefully waited to let God's glory be shown even more. A very good lesson when we are in the middle of grief or heartache. Enjoy the episode!
