Connecting Bridges and Borders

By: Connecting Bridges and Borders
  • Summary

  • Just because we all have to stay home doesn't mean we can't still travel across the globe! The Institute for Dispute Resolution (IDR) at New Jersey City University has taken the digital initiative of creating an educational and innovative video discussion series on YouTube called Connecting Bridges and Borders. It also has a podcast counterpart on Spotify! Members of the IDR team such as its Founder and Director, Professor David Weiss, Visiting Scholar Dr. Jennifer McDevitt, and Doctoral Fellow Michael Arbitblit each collaborate with individuals throughout the world to discuss the economic and cultural impact that the pandemic has had their respective communities. Each video is unique in its own sense by giving a platform for these academics, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders to discuss their perspective through their own prism of knowledge of education, technology, business, and innovation.
