  • Collector's Testimony December Edition 2023 (Final episode) - Featuring Trent Roden
    Dec 3 2023

Here it is the final episode of Collector's Testimony. I couldn’t think of a better way to finishing up this podcast other than by featuring a person who has done so much for Australian Hip Hop culture and has brought out so many memorable tours down under.

I am indeed talking about Trent Roden who has been responsible for bringing out the likes of Company Flow, MF DOOM, Ugly Duckling, Deltron 3030, and many others. I personally will never forget the KRS ONE tour in 2012 when the teacher graced our shores after a month at sea.

It was a pleasure to get to ask Trent questions about his experiences over the years and the movements that he has been responsible for over a 30 year career.

During our meeting we spoke about event planning and management, Hip Hop, his career, his current venture focusing on HipHoptoyz and also the upcoming Souls of Mischief show happening later this week.

This is an episode that has a lot of information in it and will leave you with a deep appreciation for the work that Trent has been involved with.

We went into quite a lot of detail about the new release and we spoke about numerous other topics which include: AI technology, Hip Hop culture and everything else Sinks related.

  • Collector's Testimony October 2023 Edition - Featuring Aye One
    Oct 1 2023

In my opinion Aye One released one of the best releases to come out of this country this year and it was a very entertaining sit down with him to say the least.

Throughout the whole interview we spoke about television, pop culture, Hip Hop, and we managed to talk about The A1 Station in some detail and have an inside look into the creation of the album.

This interview is unlike any of the others on this podcast so far as it is jam packed with plenty of Simpson references and animated behaviour that nicely compliments the tone of The A1 Station.

    Apr 30 2023

This is the first episode that is focused on documenting the scene and shining some light on particular members of the Australian Hip Hop community that have left a mark and impacted it in a positive way. For this episode I had a killer interview with Morganics.

Morganics is a Sydney emcee who has been a big part of the pioneering  Australian Hip Hop group, Meta Bass and Breath. Morganics is a dedicated b-boy, beat boxer and has helped many people with his strong connection to the culture and by using his talents to help others around the world to have their input and express themselves.
