From Richard Jeni's 1997 HBO special "A Good Catholic Boy" - the comedian shows the audience how boring church can be. In this bit he acts out various characters and never hits you over the head directly with the idea that "religion sucks", but rather makes the point that religion is boring. He introduces us to this boring world of the Catholic mass through the eyes of his 9 year old self. It's a very smart joke with a big theme done by an expert at the craft. Unfortunately Richard Jeni took his own life a few years ago but his comedy lives on through Youtube and this podcast.
